What if you took the time to dance?

Have you ever dreamed of (re)discovering classical ballet and contemporary dance in an exceptional setting?

This spring, the Mosa Ballet School exceptionally opens its dance studios to the public, offering classical ballet and contemporary dance classes accessible to everyone, with no prior experience required.

These discovery classes offer a guided introduction to
  • classical ballet, where technique and musicality blend with the joy of dancing, body awareness, and a sensitivity to space and others
  • contemporary dance, inviting participants to explore movement through floor work, musicality, coordination, and body awareness. The focus is on curiosity, ease, and personal expression, making it an accessible and engaging entry point for anyone interested in moving differently.
They will be led by
  • Jason Sabrou, former soloist trained in France, renowned pedagogue, and holder of a Master’s degree in Dance Pedagogy from the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz in Dresden.
  • Séverine de Cussac, trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School, former international soloist, and respected classical ballet teacher.
  • Gregory Livingston, international contemporary dance artist and pedagogue, with an interdisciplinary background spanning creation, transmission, and performative projects.
  • Guy Albouy, former international principal dancer, renowned pedagogue, and specialist of the great classical repertoire.
  • Marina Antonova Albouy, former international principal dancer trained in Russia, highly respected pedagogue, and a leading figure in the transmission of the great classical repertoire.
  • Marie-Claude Dubus, former soloist at the Paris Opera Ballet and respected teacher at the Paris Opera Ballet School and the Marseille National Ballet School.
  • Olivier Patey, Artistic Director of the Mosa Ballet School, trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School, former Paris Opera Ballet principal dancer, international teacher and Ballet Master.
  • Wilfried Jacobs, Head of Faculty of the Mosa Ballet School, trained at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp, former principal dancer and freelance dancer, international choreographer and teacher.
The classical ballet classes will be accompanied by our professional pianists.

Designed around the pleasure of movement, these classes, taught in French or English, are open to everyone, curious beginners or experienced movers, from 16 years old. Set in the heart of the former National Bank, an iconic 12,000 m² building, they take place in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere true to the spirit of Mosa and its social program Quand on Danse, where artistic excellence meets well-being and inclusion.
